As a leader in the computer software industry its headquarter offices need to embody this leadership spirit. Adhering to the Microsoft global design standard which includes many imported materials and innovative technologies, edg was contracted to complete its Asia-Pacific headquarter office,including its MEP work, IT rooms, staircase and garden features. With two towers, 21 floors and 150,000sqm of space and 10 months to work with, the project was completed to the satisfaction of the client. Among the many projects by Mircosoft, its Beijing and Shanghai offices are of key importance. Designed as integrated workspaces with recreation & relaxation areas, they include a multi-function audio-visual room,computer rooms and labs. Partition walls of specially-made paint-coated metal board and glass were favored over traditional plasterboard separations. Assembly details were given special attention by our construction team, resulting in a high quality finish and winning praise from the client.
